Pastor Phil and Diane Magnan knew the Lord was calling them to plant a church in the coastal town of Lincoln City, and in June 2012, they started Calvary Chapel Lincoln City. They began meeting at a small storefront near J’s Fish and Chips, and after one year, they met weekly at the Taft High School Community Room. After about a month at the school, the Evangelical Church approached Phil and Diane Magnan to begin meeting at their church building. They began to teach their mid-week services there and, since the Evangelical Church did not have a pastor at the time, began teaching the Sunday services as well. In July 2013, the two churches decided to merge congregations. Since that time, they have grown as one family serving Christ!

Pastor Corey Rivera was ordained in our church in January 2019, and in June 2022, was made Lead Pastor of Calvary Chapel Lincoln City. Pastor Phil Magnan stepped into the Associate Pastor position from being the former Lead Pastor. Together, they and their wives and their families faithfully and humbly serve our church body.
